Why parents worry about transport most
Many children at rehabilitation centers cannot tell their parents what happened on the way. Parents hand over their child and do not see them until the return trip, so any delay without information turns into worry, then into calls.
Organize routes by zone
Assigning children to vehicles by zone shortens trips and makes them predictable. When a child joins or changes address, they are added to the right route instead of everything being reshuffled.
- Each vehicle has a known route and a set capacity.
- Each zone has its children and approximate pick-up times.
- Temporary changes, such as an absent child, are recorded before the vehicle leaves.
A notification instead of a call
A short message at pick-up from home and another at drop-off answers parents' question before they ask it. It reaches the phone where they already read messages, and the driver does not have to call anyone while driving.
How this works in Enable 360
The operations and transport module manages students, vehicles, routes and zones, along with parent meetings. Parents receive pick-up and drop-off notifications by SMS and WhatsApp, as part of the parent portal notifications.
